Terms & Conditions

By booking DJ Cannix you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope
These terms apply to all quotes, agreements and bookings with Cannix (the Artist). Confirming a booking means the client accepts these terms in full.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is final only after written confirmation by the Artist and receipt of any requested deposit. Verbal agreements are not binding without written confirmation.
3. Fee & Payment
The fee is set out in the quote or agreement. A 25% deposit is due on confirmation; the balance is due no later than 7 days before the performance unless agreed otherwise. Amounts exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
4. Cancellation by Client
For cancellation more than 30 days before the date: 25% of the fee. Between 14 and 30 days: 50%. Less than 14 days: 100% is due. Cancellations must be communicated in writing.
5. Cancellation by Artist
The Artist may cancel due to force majeure (illness, family circumstances or government order). In that case the full deposit is refunded and the Artist will try to recommend a replacement.
6. Technical Rider
The Client provides the technical requirements in the rider (sound system, lighting and performance space). If unavailable, the Artist may adjust the fee or refuse the performance without refund.
7. Copyright & Recordings
Audio or video recordings for commercial use require written permission from the Artist. Social-media imagery for the event's promotion is permitted.
8. Liability
The Artist is not liable for damage caused by force majeure, technical failures outside their control or third parties. Liability is limited to the agreed fee.
9. Governing Law
Belgian law applies to all agreements with Cannix. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts of the Artist's registered location.
